1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to EasyMed. By accessing or using our website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. About EasyMed

EasyMed is an online-to-offline healthcare platform that connects patients with licensed pharmacies, verified doctors, and pharmacists across Nigeria. We facilitate the discovery, verification, and purchase of genuine medications, as well as online and in-person consultations. We are a technology platform and are not ourselves a licensed pharmacy or medical practice; the dispensing of medicines and the provision of medical advice are carried out by the independent licensed providers on our Platform.

3. Eligibility & Accounts

To use certain features you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have parental or guardian consent, to register. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

4. Medical Disclaimer

EasyMed does not provide medical advice. All consultations, diagnoses, and prescriptions are the responsibility of the licensed doctors and pharmacists you engage through the Platform. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any medication. In an emergency, call your local emergency number immediately. We are not liable for any adverse effects, omissions, or outcomes arising from the use of medications or medical services obtained through the Platform.

5. Orders, Pricing & Payment

Prices are set by the individual pharmacies and may change without notice. All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by the relevant pharmacy. Payments are processed securely; we support online card, bank transfer, USSD, and pay-on-delivery where available. You authorise us to charge the selected payment method for the total amount of your order, including applicable delivery fees and taxes.

6. Prescriptions

Prescription-only medicines require a valid prescription from a licensed doctor. You agree to upload authentic prescriptions and understand that our pharmacists may reject any prescription that appears invalid, incomplete, or unlawful. Issuing or attempting to obtain medicines with a fraudulent prescription is strictly prohibited.

7. Delivery & Fulfilment

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery or pickup. If you receive a damaged, incorrect, or missing item, notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy below.

8. Refund & Return Policy

If you receive a damaged or incorrect product, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with supporting photos for a replacement or refund. For safety and regulatory reasons, medicines are generally non-returnable once dispatched; exceptions apply only where we or the pharmacy have erred. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within a reasonable period.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; (c) attempt to disrupt or compromise the security or integrity of the Platform; (d) resell or redistribute medications contrary to applicable law; or (e) infringe the intellectual property rights of EasyMed or third parties.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the Platform are owned by EasyMed or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which explain how we collect, use, and protect your information.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EasyMed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Platform. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold EasyMed, its affiliates, and its personnel harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Platform or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform, and your continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
